A discussion over at TFL about the "Mare's Leg" from the Steve McQueen TV show "Wanted: Dead or Alive" got me to thinking about all the nifty guns I've seen on TV and movies that I'd rally like to have. For the sake of keeping it interesting, let's limit this to TV/Movie guns that aren't a standard of the shelf gun i.e. Bruce Willis' Beretta was just a Beretta in "Die Hard", if you want one you can easily buy one. A few of the ones I've salivated over:
1. Mare's Leg from "Wanted: Dead or Alive" 2. 9.2MM Pobyrian (a modified Desert Eagle) from "Red Heat" 3. Golgo-13's suppressed, electronic trigger M-16 from "The Professional." 4. Robocop's pistol (a modified Beretta 93) 5. Deckard's blaster (a modified Charter Arms Bulldog) from "Blade Runner" |

The Vulcan from Predator (with the Gov to carry it around for me [;)])

Quoted: M41A Pulse Rifle From Aliens View Quote Heck yeah! Ever notice, tho, they describe it as a 10mm caseless explosive round, yet in some scenes, you can see them ejecting shell casings (if I remember correctly.. I caught the last half hour of that movie the other night) |

I'd like to know how the flame unit Ripley duct tapes to the pulse rifle was made. Looks almost simple enough to build your own... |

Any Hong Kong's John Woo movies with Chow Yun Phat in it.

I'd have to also go with the M41-A, but for sheer "frankengun" idiocy, you can't beat the weapons that Russell and anti-gun Stallone use at the end of Tango and Cash! I'd love one just to show what Hollywierd is capable of.
Wouldn't you just love to go through Stembridge Gun Rentals and drool? |

The 5th Element - I want the one of the guns that were sold to the lizard looking guys... combo rifle, flamethrower, net, etc...

View Quote She goes to the trouble of doing all that, but forgets any more fuel cannisters for the M240 Flamethrower, or any more mags for the M41 pulse rifle. Runs out of fuel and ammo... Major hole in the plot of an otherwise excellent movie. The scene of the dropship leaving the Sulaco is one of my favorites. |
I always hated the fact that she never took at least 2 more mag's even if she didnt take fuel but acouple extra mags and she would have blown the queen to pieces...mmmmmmmmm 100 rounds of 10mm (Psuedo) caseless armor piercing explosive tiped ammo!

The first terminator movie. the .45 longslide with the laser site. It's real, and can be had.
Just thought it was kinda cool. Unless you happen to be named Sara Conner....:) Rich |
Hon Solo's Blaster
or a Phaser, disruptor, and energy pistol from Star Trek. Not a Gun but a LIGHTSABER would be cool. [:)] |
The golden gun from "The Man With The Golden Gun" (Bond).
Very classy. |
Damn! How could I forget this one!!! I'd love to have a gimmicked Winchester like Lucas McCain's from "The Rifleman."
Ohhh, there are so many I would love to have. Sci-Fi tends to come up with the sweetest things.
1.) The M-41a Pulse rifle from Aliens. I don't get why the don't take more the one magazine, but a kick ass weapon still. 2.) The Rail gun off of Eraser. It's the best sniper rifle I could imagine, and possible too, all except the X-ray sight 3.) The phased plasma rifle that the Terminators carry in the beging of T-2. 4.) Not exactly from a movie but the MEC gattling rail gun from the game Fallout Tactics. [:D] |

Does a book count? Death-mate by Martin Caidin
22-magnum auto, 200 round drum or "I come in Peace" (movie) Calico .22 pistol 100 rd helical mag full auto "Predator" Laser blaster shoulder mount with three beam targeting sights and HUD display. |
The modified, shortened, remote HUD visor controlled mini-gun in Armageddon. That thing was bad ass!
Anyone seen Tremmors 3 yet? I want Burt's house!!! Edited to take the guns from Eraser off, since somebody posted while I was typing mine[pissed] [:)] |

The Auto rifles from Starship Troopers, especially the energy rifle at the end! Or any of the guns from MIB!
Hey Golgo...what's shakin?
So, this summer I bought the HK USP Match (.45) for TombRaider. I'd love the two .45's that Sly Stallone had in Cobra, and what I wouldn't give for a Blaster Pistol. Pretty much anything I see in the films...I want. Jeeps |
The FN Al Pacino carry's in HEAT.
The MG42 from Saving Pvt. Ryan. The Styer Aug in Die Hard. The "Screaming Cricket" in Men In Black. |

I cant believe no one has requested the minigun that Jessie carried in Predator, if they could ever get the weight down to a respectable and comfortable carry weight Hhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !
I dont know if this is the same one your talking about or not ttman |

Anything and everything from the TV show Soldier of Fortune/Special Ops Force. Barretts,MP5-SD,Glocks,HK,a mag fed shotgun, det cord and plastic explosives. Cool blades would show up from time to time too.
Oh yeah Melinda Clarke also.[:P] |

I'd be happy with a .38 revolver from one of those 1970's movies that fires dozens of shots without reloading, and hits whatever you shoot at(without aiming) as long as you're wearing a sinister expression.
Vulcan and the Gov.... it was like the 3rd post View Quote Sorry It has been a long nite and I missed that one, but then again I thought the Vulcan was a 20mm, and I thought the mini gun in Predator was the XM214 designed for light aircraft in 5.56 If Im wrong I apologise |
How about those cool Micro Uzis that Arnold Schwarzenegger fired in "Total Recall." Oh, wait - I already own one!!!
[:D] |
I'll have to watch it again and look for the puny-uzi, but I thought the primary gun in "Totall Recall" was the Claridge HighTech (and, yes, I wish I had one of each).
I know the one dude in Total Recall has a Calico M-950. Not sure but the other Police dudes on Mars look like they are carrying Mini-14's in bullpup stocks. So many kewl guns in that movie...
WOIM- you can buy a non-functioning pulse rifle.
A buddy of mine got one last year. It is a bit pricey. About 3500 as I recall. It is made from a Thompson, a remmington shotgun, and the cage from a spas. It will load mock shells for grenades, and it has a digital counter that counts down as you hold the trigger down. You take out the mag it goes to zero, and when you slap it back in the counter resets. |
Can't believe you guys haven't mentioned the Blast Cannon thing that the Bounty Hunters carried in "Critters" with the telescoping barrel and all ... Oh yeah Daddy like!
Almost as awesome as the "Noisy Cricket" from MIB. Ryan |
How about "The Lawgiver" from Judge Dredd?
(I know, the movie was pretty lame) |
"The Lawgiver" from Judge Dredd? View Quote Hmm... "Double Wammy!" Ryan |

All of the guns in the Kurt Russel movie "Soldier."
Did you see the spiffed-up M-16 he had in the sniper scenes? The clip-on minigun was pretty cool too. "Do what you will, just give me some cool Hollyweird guns." |
M41A Pulse Rifle
F-16 from top gun FNC from "The way of the Gun" Phaser from Star Trek |
I'ld like to crank off a few rounds with the gatteling gun from "The Outlaw Jose Wales."
NO F 16s in top gun, F14s were the "good Guys," F5s were the "Mig 28s".
No FNC in Way of the Gun, it was a Galil. |

Didn't Flint have one that fired backwards?
I can see it now: "oh no please don't rob me, and whatever you do, don't take my own weapon and use it on me!" |
