With all the stuff I bring to the range, it's been getting to be a hassle to make several trips to the truck to get everything, so I decided to make a range cart this evening. After some simple planning, went off to Home Depot and picked up the supplies. I'll include the dimensions if you'd like to use them for your own cart.
I picked up more stuff than I planned, but here's what I used. 4'x4'x3/4" sheet of plywood, couple 3/4"x8" pieces of shelving that I had lying around, a shovel handle, couple large casters, door pulls, brackets and various nuts, bolts and washers to tie it all together.

Bottom piece is measured, marked and ready to be cut.

Bottom piece is 26"x18"

The shelving I used on the sides was 33" tall, so I just cut the back to the same height and 16.5" wide to accomodate the shelving which is going to be attached on the sides.

I used wood glue and screws to get it all secured. I also angle cut the sides; looks nicer and gets rid of those hard, pointy corners.

These 2" casters are secured by some 1" bolts. I countersunk the space for the washers on top.
