I'm curious to what kind of stuff you carry on your belt and in your assault pack. Links or lists would be fun.  Thanks in advance.

Too much in the big bugout bag to list, but I'll list the small bag, which is actually part of the smaller bag but seperated in a smaller bag as it's the essentials.  Remember, I have two small children aged 3yrs and 7months.

Small bag:
four light sticks (2 red/2 green)
20oz Nalgene bottle with new purification filter.
Magnesium fire starter.
Mini-first aid kit (custom built).
6 pairs of clean/dry socks.
4 space blankets.
4 rain ponchos.
Mini-mag with spare batteries and bulbs.
Gerber multi-tool.
Small servings of powdered gatorade and instant tea.
40rds of 150gr .40 Federal Hydrashock.
3 days worth of powdered baby formula.

[edited to add that I keep my Yaesu VX-5R in my essentials bag for shortwave, HAM, and scanner usage]

The big bugout bag consists mostly of bulk foods like tuna in the no-drain foil pouches, raman noodles, summer sausage, jerky, etc.  Also a tarp, some sterno, and other stuff.  I should take a look tomorrow and make sure everything has a place.

God Bless Texas
