Two Green Bay Packers were held up at gunpoint in Wisconsin. What are the gun laws like in WI?

As I understand it, they are fairly restrictive.

Wisconsin is a "Discresionary Permit" State.

Meaning that you can't get a CWL unless you are a politician or a "friend" of the police chief.

My wife applied for one in '90 after being stalked while she made a night deposit. They all but laughed at her.

"Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6."
