1. Nationhood and Jerusalem.  Israel became a nation in 1312 BCE, two
thousand years before the rise of Islam.

2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a
Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern
State of Israel.

3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BCE, the Jews have had dominion over the
land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the
past 3,300 years.

4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 CE lasted no more than 22
years.

5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has
never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians
occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab
leaders did not come to visit.

6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy
Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran.

7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to
Jerusalem.

8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward
Jerusalem.

9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: In 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged to
leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews. Sixty-eight
percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.

10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab
brutality, persecution and pogroms.

11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be
around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to
be the same.

12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated into the Arab
lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the
100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in
the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own peoples'
lands. Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no
larger than the state of New Jersey.

13. The Arab - Israeli Conflict: The Arabs are represented by eight separate
nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation.
The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost. Israel defended itself
each time and won.

14. The PLO's Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of
Israel.  Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land,
autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them.

15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were
denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and
Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all
faiths.

16. The UN Record on Israel and the Arabs: of the 175 Security Council
resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel.

17. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were
directed against Israel.

18. The U. N was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the
Jordanians.

19. The UN was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the
ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.

20. The UN was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like policy
of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.

These are incredible times.

I agree with just about everything that you have said. The U.N. is and always has been our enemy.

Of course I agree with all 20 points - they can not be refuted!

There is one thing I disagree about with the post, however, and that is the use of the terms 'BCE' and 'CE' as substitutes for 'BC' and 'AD', for obvious reasons!

The 'obvious reason' being that we know what that 'common era' is - and it may as well be referred to as the 'Christian Era', as the common era!

Did any one see Politically Incorrect Wed. Night?

4 young americans, who are also followers of Islam were the panel.

Here's what they had to say about terrorism

1) We are at fault because we back Israel, never mind the fact Jews have a pretty good claim to the land and the won't be knocked off it.
2) We are responsible for represssive governments in the Mid-East.
3) President Bush was incompetent and should have removed Saddam from power.
4) US sanctions against Iraq, designed to remove Saddam or at least limit his power, are evil.
5) We didn't support the overthrow of the Shah of Iran and the Democratization that has come in Iran since.
6) We failed to continue to support Afghanistan after they fough the war with the USSR for us.

I won't argue #1 it's pointless, and even if I did when anyone can win a fight vs. Israel covert or conventional war...... they can have Israel until then tough luck.

#2 They conviniently blamed us for creating every repressive regime apparently. At the same time I'm sure that if we tried to overthrow a government someone would say (probably rightfully) that we should interfere in the internal matters of soveriegn states. Other muslims apparently have no responsibility here.

#3 Yeah, Pres GB was incompetent. Who let Saddam run Iraq, Iraqi's. Who stopped Iraq from annexing Kuwait? The US led by POTUS GB, with some help from our friends-thanx. Maybe should have removed Saddam, unless we didn't want to be accused of removing governemts we don't like  and interfering in internal matters of other countries, not to mention who knows what his replacement would've been like.

#4 Sanctions aren't great, but Saddam has made a choice how the limited supply of money in his country is spent, and it ain't on silly stuff like food or medical supplies for the population. More than a few muslims, Iraqi citizens, are fully supporting Saddam. Saddam is responsible.

#5 Well honestly we helped install the Shah and everyone knew it. There was a little backlash against us, and Iran really doesn't care to be anywhere aroound the US. Of course this "democratizion" only happened after the citizens of Iran went back about 200 years and lived in the past for 20 years. Now the have religous democracy, whatever that is, and they are living in the 1930's-1950's bully for them.

#6 Welfare. First it wasn't our war. It was theris and we decided to help them. Yes we had our reasons for supporting them. Did they think what would have been the outcome if the USSR really got sick of us on the sidelines of that one giving arms to the Afghanees? We don't owe them anything, we helped them IN THEIR TIME OF NEED. Instead of saying thanx they feel entitled to stay on the gravy train!!!!!!!1 Get a job.

They also brought up the US having troops in Saudi Arabia as desecrating the Islamic Holy Land. So are they saying the we aren't equal to them as human beings?? That US troops are somehow dirty?? That by our mere presence their religon is offended?? Sorry I am offeneded by that whole "contaminated Saudi Arabia" line of thinking.

They also whined about how they aren't free to say what they want in the US...... No one brought up the US missionary in Afganistan under arrest for over a year because she allegeldly had christian literature in her possesion. If she is found guilty the likely punishment is death. Yeah people in the US are real intolerant.
