A friend of mine has a German made Walther PPK he wants to sell for $375.  I have a Glock 26 in good shape with Trijicon night sights, Galco horse hide "Summer Special" holster with 7 ten round mags with finger extensions.  How much more should he come up with for a trade?

Bad trade. I don't like Glocks and have a PPK, but I would keep the Glock.
Gaston's gun is more reliable and holds its value better than Walther's.

I have friend that bought a PPK.  He asked me to look at it because the slide wasn't moving smoothly.   I dissassembled it and found parts that used to be(and are supposed to be) one part.

I have a G26 and love it to death.  Very accurate and a great little CCW.

Keep the Glock, if you trade it, you'll probably end up buying another.

Don't do it.  Keep the Glock 26.

PPK hurts like hell when you shoot it due to the blow back design.  The .308 also has a tendency to keyhole and tumble.

Seek medical attention, for you appear to be running a high fever, which is affecting your judgement.

I own a couple Walthers, and have shot a number of PP/PPK's.. The Glock is a far far better weapon..
Keep the Glock.

He said German made. Depending on the gun it could be worth far more than the Glock. Some of us are collectors as well as shooters ya know?

I'm sorry, but I have to go against the majority opinion on this one.  I prefer the PPK, I have never trusted Glocks in any caliber or size  and to this day, shake my head for selling my PPK/S in .380 ACP back during my college days when I needed cash.  Glocks will come and go, but good Walthers are getting harder to find these days.

Get the PPK, you WONT regret it.

Turns out the gun is a German made PPK/S.  The blueing is near 95%.  He wants $375 for it.  Got other guns to carry.  I don't think Walther is importing these into the country anymore.
