looks like i hve a good deal on one and  was wondering everyones oppion?

the only problem is the upper and lower are so darn lose!

The only Armalite prebans you will find are AR180's.  An original ArmaLite AR15 would be worth thousands.  Please post some details, such as the first 2 digits of the serial number (such as 22XXX), if the serial number is prefixed with US, whether it says Geneseo, IL or Coal Valley, IL, and whether it is stamped Armalite or Eagle Arms.

What ArmaLite prebans??  An AR180???  Or are you lucky enough to own one of the real old original AR15's by ArmaLite?

When he provides the info I asked for, we we all find out.  The only readily availble preban ArmaLites are the AR180's.  Any original ArmaLite AR15 is probably locked in some collector's safe is most likely worth more than an FA M16.  If what he found says ArmaLite and is an AR15 type, it is either a postban or an ArmaLite lower than someone stuck a preban upper on, in which case I would avoid it.  The latter would explain the looseness he mentioned.
