So lets here it what is your favorite Energy drink?
Just tried the Sobe Essential energy Orange version. Damn its good tastes like orange crush! w00t!! Feel the buzz! |
Rip It, Citrus X or Lime Wrecker.
Citrus X is like an Orange Crush, too. Is kinda hard to find around MN, I usually get it at Menard's. |
Diet Rockstar. The sugar in others brings me down after a bit.
I get canker sores from taurine...like 12 Kiloton size in pain canker sores
Their is a diet rockstar? Sweet!! I crash so bad on the extra sugar!
Big fan of the DRS here. Also, on stage I have been drinking one can of RedBull or Dt. Rock Star mixed in w/ 32 oz. of beer. It is a different taste, but I really dig it. My local bartender started calling it a "big & little". |
Redbulls were tasty. I like the energy a Rockstar Juiced used to give me. I have cut myself off from the energy drink thing. When you drink 2 cupps of coffee, a large redbull, a rockstar juiced and an Extreme Power (drink at the gym, 200mg caffeine) and barely get anything out of it...it is safe to say you have an addiction.

We like the Bud 180 made by Budweiser. I want to try the Java line of Monster.

If I'm going for taste & energy ---> SOBE ADRENALINE RUSH FTW!
I don't like an energy drinks. My husband drinks red bull and vodka a lot
I do drink Emergen-C's though, they aren't bad and do give me an energy booast, great for hang overs too. |
The 180 brands are good
BadBoy Energy Drinks (DFW area mostly, nation wide soon) are good too. I stay away from them as I usually "crash" after drinking one, and/or it doesn't do anything for me. I'll drink Dr. Pepper all day if I could. |
NOS is my absolute favorite, but its kinda hard to find.
green monster is my next favorite red bull if those two arent around red bull is best for mixing with drinks (vodka or yagermiester) |
boo-koo
cause i get it free where i work, even the stuff not on the market yet |

I've gone through a lot of the different brands.
Started with Red Bull. Then tried Monster and Rock Star. Settled on SoBe red and gold label for a while. Then it was Full Throttle Blue Demon and the red one as well. And Mountain Dew Amp for a while. And lately it's been back to Red Bull. I usually down two large cans of Red Bull or Full Throttle on the way to my gigs cause I'm gettin' old and it's hard to stay up that late any more... |
GREATEST SHIT ON EARTH!!!! BEEEEEEOOOOYAAAWWWW!
Man, I've tried them all, but this takes the cake. Jagger makes me want to fight when I drink it, but this does it without the alcohol! Mike |
Rockstar
Two Rockstars a day got me through accelerated EMT school: 15 straight days of 10-12 hour classes, and studying at night. |
+1, hard to beat it! I like the sugar free one ok too. |
My favorite are probably Mountain Dew's Amp'd, the Ripit's or Rockstar.
FWIW, a buddy of mine who likes nascar and hates jeff gordon says thats pretty good. |
I think some of the energy drinks taste pretty good, but I honestly never get the burst of energy that others speak of. Sometimes on long trips behind the wheel I will take a couple of the 200mg. caffeine pills. I'm not sure that has any effect either? I suspect I have a high tolerance to caffeine.
Do you guys think that the stay-awake pills work as good or better than the drinks? |
Don't drink them, bad on the ole stomach. If a man would eat a balanced diet and get plenty of good sleep, not the alcohol induced kind. Then he wouldn't need "energy drinks".
Maybe I'm old school:
Freshly ground (dark French or Italian roast) black coffee in the a.m. Ice water or (when needed) Gatorade (the original lemon-lime) in the p.m. |
