Margarita recipes

Give me your best ones! You can be a Cointreau snob, blender snob, tequila snob, I don't care.

I have Mezcal, 1800 Reposado, Rose's lime juice, Triple Sec, some ice and a BLENDER!

1 can minutemaid lime juice (save can, it will become your measuring cup)

1/3 above can Herreradura or El Jimador Tequila
1/3 above can Triple Sec
2/3 blender full of ice
Add all ingredients to blender and blend well

wet rim of glass with lime slice and dip rim in salt

ETA: Mezcal is NOT tequila

Eric the Hun's, copied from his memorial thread, can't remember who posted it

As taught to me by The Master himself, EricTheHun's World Famous Windex Margarita

3 parts Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix
1 part Gold Tequila (Cuervo or Sauza)
1 splash Triple Sec
1 splash Blue Curacao (When it looks like Windex, you've got it just right)
1 generous wedge of lime, per glass, fresh squeezed.
Ice - Wayne prefered his 'rita frozen, but when served out at the Hun Farm, on the rocks was tradition.

using Mezcal will ruin the flavor

I know this for a fact

I lived in Albuquerque for 8 years and had a farm 20 miles from the border

El Paso was in my territory, Ciudad Juárez was just across the Rio Grande

Very close to my recipe.

1 Can MinuteMaid Lime Juice (frozen concentrate)
1 Can Tequila (your choice)
1 Can Triple Sec
2 1/2 Cans Water
Pour over ice.

I prefer them without salt.
