Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - anybody know anything aboout projectors?

i think i would like to get one, i would just use it to watch tv, movies, and occasional video games.
all the specs and shit have me confused. ratios, resolutions, and lumens all have me confused. what do i need? would like to keep it less than $700. i know you get what you pay for but i am college kid.
