Hamburger Helper and frozen broccoli? No knife? No beverage? I cannot, in good conscience, cast a ballot for this dinner pic.

Recipe please?

about 1/2 lb macaroni or other mini-sized pasta shapes
1 lb ground lean beef
butter
salt
garlic powder
onion powder
paprika powder
white or black pepper
1 can beef or chicken stock
8oz good-quality processed cheese (cream cheese if you like it)  I use white cheddar.
freshly grated Parmesan cheese
grated flavourful cheese (eg Gruyère, Emmental, Gouda)

Cook pasta and ground beef.  Spice the beef to taste with all the spices above and mix in pasta.

Melt first two cheeses in beef stock and mix with beef and pasta.  Pour into dish, grate last cheese on top and bake for about 30 min at 350.

Green Onion for color.

Yes, Emmental is what we normally call Swiss.  That is it's true name.  There are many kinds of Swiss.

And please don't hit the tattle tale button.

We just had cabbage rolls the other day. One of my favorite "Finnish" meals.
My Grandmother, a full-blooded Finn used to make it, so it must be Finn.

Ahh cabbage rolls, thanks for reminding me. I think it will go on the grocery list this week along with this recipe.

What's a good side besides broccoli?

Whatever you want.  Broc doesn't have to go with it.

They use beets, cabbage and brussel sprouts too.

Yeah, I like to do a side dish of the same ethnicity.

Like Kielbasa and sauerkraut with pierogies, ya know?
