What kind of scheme will the Welfare-Industrial Complex come up with to get her into office?

The Federal Government already spends more on health care than it does on the military. (It's not even close.)

Oddly, I think she would expand the war so as not to appear weak. Another attack on her watch would really piss her off. She'd take it personal.

I agree that the health care/drug companies and insurance companies are probably firmly against Hillary and she'll have a hard time keeping pace with a decent Republican Candidate like Fred Thompson in terms of fund raising in the general election.

The Military contractors have to be conservative though and can't go to heavy for one party, but trust me they know that Hillary will be slashing defense programs like crazy.

HELL, the Dems have already cut big time the Future Combat Systems program, the F-35, Landwarrior, UCAVs, UGV, DARPA, and a host of other programs have been downsized or killed. Watch cspan sometime folks about the only thing the Dems seem to favor is MRAP and more body armor.

Probably not much. Clinton 44 would allow the military to atrophy for 4 or 8 years resulting in HUGE attacks on the USA and/or our interests, necessitating another huge buildup.

Her lick-spittle friend Jack Murtha is all about huge appropriations for ships the .mil does not want or need in order to keep his lobbyist sons knee deep in cash.

If people had to buy coverage out of their pockets it would bring more supply/demand dynamic into things and drive prices down. They could roll it out as of some year start ... give everyone a pay bump equal to what their health care benefit cost the company during the last year and say go shopping.

They don't need to. Democrats are much better at waging war than Republicans. Republicans don't "win" anything. They lose in politics and they lose in war. They are not really effective at much except chronyism and making themselves richer. Least the democrats are good in all four areas.
