rice and beans are what you put in a burrito if you can't afford meat.

or if you are a vegetarian

Best burrito place in town uses spanish rice and refried beans in their burritos.  And I would eat there every day if I could -- so yes.

Reading comprehension is fundamental in this poll.

If I'm in the mood for having rice, I like it in a burrito with some meat, peppers and cheese, but I can go without too depends on mood.

That's called "Santa Fe" style.  Why, I have no idea.  Usually eaten by tourists and Yankees that don't know any better.

Burritos should have you meat of choice, charro beans, onions, 3 different types of peppers, onions, and a healthy helping of quacamole.

Rice belongs on the Chinese buffet across town.

NO RICE IN BURRITOS (rice as a side dish, yes.  rice as a filling, no).

NO BEANS IN CHILI (at least not if I want to be social afterwards).

Rice and beans just take up room so the restaurants don't have to give you so much meat. Tell 'em to hold that crap and enjoy the meaty goodness as it was intended. Don't be a sucka!

Meat cheese salsa there's my burrito!! I know places hate it when I order that, because meat costs more than rice and beans. I've been taken too many times. 3 pieces of meat, and the rest is beans and rice. If I wanted a rice and bean burrito I'd order one..

At home I make them with ground beef, refried beens, lettuce, diced tomatoes, sautéd onions, and some shredded cheese.

At Chipotle I get them with beef, rice, fajita veggies, cheese, and sometimes lettuce.

I like rice in my burritos sometimes but I love to make Taco Bowls.
Ryan’s Taco Bowels

Ingredients
1.5 LB meat of choice we use Ground Sirloin
1 bunch green onions or as some call them scallions chopped
3 Roma tomatoes chopped
1 Box of Rice a Roni Spanish rice
2 cans of refried beans
3-4 cups shredded Medium Cheddar
1 tub sour cream if desired
1 medium package of corn tortillas or homemade if you know how to make them
3 medium Avocado’s smashed and seasoned for guacamole
1-2 Tablespoons of sage
Onion salt and pepper for taste
Olive Oil

In a sauté pan brown meat and season to taste.  Prepare rice according to box.  Take 3 tortillas per person eating and warm in a little olive oil until soft set aside on paper towels then take about 10-15 tortillas and cut into strips and cook till crisp in Olive oil place on paper towels to drain. After this place strips in with meat and stir. Open beans and put in pan with ½ cup of cheese.  Once this is done take a deep bowl and place three tortilla’s so they line the bowl.  Then layer with desired ingredients and enjoy.  My fiancée’s step-mom made this dish for him as a kid.
Enjoy. It is one of his favorites.
