No, they didn't have insurance. So, I called the cops and they came and shook him down. The cops told me that the guy had a bond with the state and he'd pay for whatever it would cost to fix the damages. kinda weird, I thought everyone had to have insurance...

Some states allow you to have a bond setup instead of insurance. If you have alot of money that you can have sit somewhere and not collect interest then you yourself can have a bond and tell the ins. companies to FOAD. |

Yeah, I 'm having my assistant take my car to get three estimates. The guy called me and he said he'd pay whatever the estimates are to fix my car.

It has nothing to do with vision, but experience with driving. A sizable portion of the Asian population in certain areas of California are recent immigrants who had no experience with cars in the old country. When they come here, they buy a car and don't have a good grasp of little things like physics (can't stop on a dime) or rules of the road (who has the right of way, how to go with the flow of traffic, not making a left turn in front of 3 lanes of oncoming traffic, Etc). |
