Talk radio, until around 4 or 5 and I get burned out on politics and usually the local radio stations play good music for the commute home.

Mostly I listen to right-wing hate-radio.

But what is this "talk radio" you speak of?

Probably 90% talk radio/sports and 10% oldies rock.

It used to be nuttin' but news on the Sirius, but then they went and sneak previewed the Grateful Dead channel...yup, I was on that for the full 9 days.  When it debuts, I think my news days are numbered.

That reminds me. I've got some Dead in the rotation here: www.rambling-geek.com

Sweet!  But right now I'm playing some shows another board member just sent me, from the Download Series.

Also, I can never get your feeds to run right in Mozilla, only IE.  And I don't like running IE.

Playboy Radio Sirius 198.

I'm as conservative as they come but I just can't stand listening to it on radio more than a few minutes a month. They're talking about the same shit with their same opinions (98% of which I agree with) shit man lets talk about something new for one day.

Talk radio in the car. At my computer, usually my own music.
My wife listens to the same CD in her car over and over and over. I could scream when I have to ride with her.

talk radio, today's music sucks ass.  Whatever happened to top 10 rock? Album rock, etc?  Now it's all hip-hop, R&B (is that the same as hip hop), My Lovely Lady Lumps crap, etc.

I have five stations programmed into my car stereo:  one oldies, one 1970's-1990's pop, one classic rock and two that are a mixture of classic rock/pop.  The instant someone starts talking I change the channel.  I've never understood why people prefer to listen to a bunch of idiot DJ's in the morning than music.  I've never listened to talk radio in any way, shape or form for any period of time.  I can understand the allure of people talking about controversial issues but I only listen to my radio in the car and when I'm driving I want MUSIC.

Talk radio for the most part. Beck in the morning, Rush at lunch, and usually NPR on the ride home (no good hate radio on in my market at that time).

CD's here and there, but i almost never tune any music channels in on the radio.

NPR about all the time, Savage when I catch him, Coast to Coast AM quite often too.

I'm so disgusted with all the shit music the radio stations try to cram down my throat.

Talk radio mostly, but I have been listening to CSN more and more in the morning.  I like Bob Coy.

www.csnradio.com/

For music I have my Ipod that I can plug directly into my new car stereo while the Ipod is in the console.  It bluetooths my phone, too.  Pretty darn cool if you ask me.  Everything (radio, Ipod, phone) run by one remote control.

Talk radio junkie here. hen
On top of that I listen to podcasts of Jim Rome.

It occured to me once if I didn't have talk radio to listen to while out on the tractor would I still enjoy farming, but that thought was so unpleasent I quickly banished it.

All those listed, but I miss John Batchelor and John Loftus, and I do enjoy listening to G. Gordon Liddy, Laura Ingram, George Noory, the Golf Network (when THE Tiger plays), Gun Talk on America Right...  Oh.  Sorry.  I don't go anywhere without XM Radio...

I was in radio for several years, and am a confirmed news junkie.  FOX, ABC, 165, 166, 168, Canada 360, BBC, Bloomberg, (P)MSNBC, XM's version of NPR, CSPAN, and the new POTUS '08...

So, why limit yourself?

Enjoy...

Carter, out...

talk radio bores me.

Ergo, oldies station, or CD's or pop station, depending on whose vehicle I'm in at any given time.

Conservative Talk Radio -   I like "The Great One" Mark Levin the best.  IMO,  XM has the better line up of Hosts on America Right vs. the Patriot on Sirius.

My music collection stomps all over anything on the radio - satellite included - so why bother?

+1

Talk or music commercial radio is pretty much unlistenable.  Madison Ave pigeon holes the listener to a format and bombards them with ads and promos.
I haven't listened to radio for years.

I have 60 gigs of music, 500 CD's and 800 vinyl albums.
The only radio I listen to is NFL or College football when I'm in the car.

I usually listen to talk radio all day. Savage and Dave Ramsey are my favorites. I like Glen Beck's position on the second amendment, but I don't have much use for him otherwise.

Talk radio.  Conservative = 60%, Sports = 30%, Music = 10%

Charles Goyette is a local guy that does a respectable job in the mornings.  He can tend toward the extreme, though.  I also catch a little of Bill O'Reilly in the afternoons.

I only leave 3.5 miles from work, so I really don't get as much time with the radio as I used to.
