In all the Nat'l Guard I've seen at the airports with M-16's, none of them appeared to have any mags what so ever.  They additionally didn't have any web gear or any mag carriers.  WTF, are these guys just feel-good window dressing for our airports, to convince the sheeple that they're protected.  A Nat'l Guard trooper with no clips, no ammmo and an un-loaded M-16 is just going to be a very easy, convenient source of providing a fully automatic weapon to terrorists.

The Canadians in Toronto had M-16's and H&K's, they had plenty of ammo and kept their fingers always very close to the trigger.

The NG guys are only window dressing anyway to make civvies feel safer.
