I am looking for opinions on the most relable .45 acp SMG mags. Anyone care to share some thoughts?

Maybe this depends on what kinda subgun you have?

Thompsons over greaseguns.  Alternating left-right feed over double stack-to-single stack feed.

From a pure design standpiont? The Tommy sticks. Easy to load, simple design, reliable, and cheap.
The M-3 mags got a bad rap from what they were stuck in.. Gordon Ingram had no problem with em..But they are a bastard to load fully without the tool.

Reising mags? See Thompson mags. Very easy to load, well made. Bad rap from the gun they were stuck in (Which is not as bad as most will tell you. Great choice for a civillian C-III subgun)
