Did they screw it up? How did they slant it? Are they trying to use it to scare people out of they idea of sending troops into Afganistan?

No screw-ups that I saw. The surviving Rangers from the first group to respond were interviewed shortly after the event, and again (apparently) a few days ago (definitely after the attacks).
Seemed VERY pro-interdiction. Tied bin-Laden directly to the Somolia FUBAR, directly slammed the Klinton regime and UN for lack of mission and clarity, and for lack of extraction planning. Good piece- watch whenever it replays. BTW, the shots of Afghanistan really DO look a LOT like the NTC at Ft. Irwin. Airborne! Don Out |
