I'm wondering, how many 'members' out there are farmers/ranchers or work for?

Or how many are in agriculturaly related areas/feilds (ie warehouses, chemical companies {ie Wilber Ellis}, extenstion agents, so on)???

My first job was working on a horse farm. That motivated me to go to college and get an education. You haven't lived until you've loaded and stacked hay bails into the loft of a hot barn.

Yep, grew up on a farm, would really like to go back to doing it someday...someday when I can do it for a hobby and not a living.[uzi]

Try digging levee gates by hand on 300+ acres of prime central Arkansas farmland-WOOOHOOO!!! I HATED rice, much preferred wheat, corn, and soybeans.

I grew up in a Nebr. town of @8000 that had ONE factory. The rest of the local economy was dependent upon the farmers.

My mom's brother and sister were farmers as well as several of my friends and/or their families.

Most farmers in the area raised some cattle or hogs for supplemental income, but mostly farmed.

Nope, just being kind, a nice afternoon away from everything makes it well worth it, plus I get to hunt deer there during season.
