Is $999 out of line for a Bushie M4 A3 w/out carry handle?  I question whether my local gun shop is hosing me on this quote.  Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I put mine together (upper, stripped lower, parts kit, M4 stock, and carry handle) for $900.

If he is throwing in about 500 rnds of ammo, that would be what I paid after tax.

I don't know about the M4-style, but I have seen new Bushmaster post-ban 20" A3's w/carry handle for about $750 in my area. I would assume that the M4's would go for about the same price.
