Are their uppers any good?

I sure hope so... I ordered one of their PCR rifle kits!

If you want an upper that has a rough chamber and a warranty that will only allow commercial U.S. production .223 to be run through it then go ahead.  For the same price by a bushmaster upper and be happy with it. Bushmasters warranty  says to only run commercial stuff as well but most people on here can run the surplus and steel cased stuff through without a problem. I have an oly and a bushmaster, the oly is def. the red headed step child.

Their old stuff had notoriously tight/rough chambers, but I am not sure about their current production.
You can find many discussions on this via the search engine.
I had an Oly Car back in about '92-'93 that, after a little chamber polishing, functioned flawlessly.

My Oly (upper and lower) works just fine.  No complaints.
