If I'm not mistaken the "speedfeed" stock means it has the 4 spare rounds in the butt. I think it is a stock made by/for Mossberg.
My dealer catalog lists them for the models 500/590 for $70.00 [i]dealer cost.[/i] They are not pistol grips, just regular synthetic stocks with the places on each side to store four extra rounds (two on each side). |

Maybe if I said speedfeed tactical stock it would help? I have seen the ones with the pistol grip and being able to hold 4 round once or twice for sale. I just don't remember where. I have one without the pistol grip on my Mossberg 590A1 but it's just hell to shoot. I had an county officer let me try his with the pistol grip and the recoil was much more tolerable. I just have to say one thing never go out and shoot 250rds of B&S 00 buckshot on one day. I had 250rds that I got for nothing about $30.00 from a friend and just took them out one day and shot them all. |

Speedfeed is the brand name of the stock. They are available at CTD and Brownell's. The price you already have is going to be hard to beat.

I have one for the 1187 that is almost perfect condition that I am wanting to sell it does not hold the 4 extra rounds but is the pistol grip the gunbroker.com auction runs out on it tomorrow so It will be available. John

Ahhh... i missed the part about the pistol grip.
I don't really feel the need to put one on a shotgun... I don't think it'd make that much of a difference. Shawn |

Shawn I don't know how a pistol grip stock would feel on a pump gun, but I like them on an auto. You got what you like and that's the only thing that counts. |

I got to shoot a county officers 590A1 with a pistol grip after I shot mine for about 100rds and I'll tell you it's so much easier to control the shotgun and the felt recoil was a lot less on your shoulder. (I should know that was the day I shoot 200rds of 00buckshot.) |
