Yes, there is an Air Force base in Ramstein... a quite nice one... was stationed there for a couple years.

Yes, there is an annoying German punk band named Rammstien.

Oh please... they are heavy metal, not punk. Techno?!? Techno doesn't use acoustic drums, ESP guitars with EMG pickups ran through Marshal cabinets.

Oh.. but they accent their music with a few keyboards so I guess they're techno.

So is the band Winger and Poison by your definition then, lol

Oh and even Metallica, the song unforgivin had keyboard synth.

Rammstein is a HEAVY METAL band, not techno and certainly not punk. You Blink 182 fans.

I wish people would LISTEN to Rammstein not just "oh that doing haste song or something durrr yeah they are part of manson huh?"

Rammstein, heh, love that band.  The live album is fantastic.  Definitely _not_ techno, industrial perhaps, but more true to heavy metal than most bands that claim to be in recent years.

Maybe we hung out together at the Gluberstubien or the Dorfshank or the Greek Restaraunt in Ramstien Village or landstuhl.
I lived on Spesbacherstrausse. I didnt hang out at the Club #1 as it wasnt my kinda music.
Hard Rock Cafe Missau was my favorite. real dark, loud old Rock, could write on the walls with a magic marker, lots of my kinda class.
