A few months back I stumbled on a thread that showed a very simple method of coloring the engraving on lowers.  IIRC it involved melting crayons.  Anyone have a link?  I tried an archive search and apparently aren't putting together the right words for a good search.

Just rub crayons over the engraving.  Wipe off the excess on the lower carefully with wd-40 I think.

This one maybe?

You are the man my friend! How did you find it?  I searched every version of "color" and "engraving" I could think of

I searched "engraving" under AR-15 community. That's it.
