does anyone know who sells a early type rear
sight for a m1 carbine? i really don't care
much for the adjustable peep site on mine.

Just ran into this ad a couple of days ago.  Prices kinda hurt to look at though.   Not like the late 80's when you could get an early config. Rockola carbine with flip sights and high wood for $149.

R2  We just uncovered a wonderful cache of original M1 Carbine Flip Sights.  Majority of these were removed from un-used early configuration carbines by Springfield Armory during small arms rebuild programs in the late 1940s.  These show no knock off marks as these were removed by SA using a fixture or they are BRAND NEW never assembled on a carbine!  These are pristine, high-quality sights and we have most manufacturers!  These are desirable and hard to find sights coveted by collectors.  Been a long time since we have seen or offered mint sights like these for sale.  We received the entire lot of about 100.  When these are gone, there aren't any more from our source (estate).
