Well it looks like Bonds finally did it tonight against the Dodgers, Home runs number 70 and 71 in the first couple of innings I believe.

Absolutely amazing. I don't really like the guy but at least there isn't the question of McGuires steroid usage being a influence on the record now.

My hat is off to him...72 is quite an accomplishment!![beer]

BTW the game is still going on.  It's in the 9th with Dodgers 11-Giants 10

Maybe you didn't see the whole stadium still packed to see the post-game ceremony.

Oh ya, you missed Willie Mays.

Well......Looks like Bonds acheived his individual accomplishment (homerun record)
Too bad the team did not acheive theirs (playoffs)

If you caught #72, would you sell it or keep it?
I would sell it as soon as possible. Its value will go down if 73 is hit.

Yawn, who cares?

My garderner tol dme about a buddy of his who freelances lawns, he told me that he finished 38 1+ acre lawns in an 8 hour stretch, probably netted himself a good $200.00-$250.00 dollars for his sweat.

Didn't see it on T.V. though...

Got no need for anymore fence.  Another guy to mow the acreage would always be handy though.
