I've been to a couple of firefighter funerals, but I've never heard "Amazing Grace" played like this:

Thought you might like to hear it.  Courtesy of the Pipe Band and the Concert Band of the Band of the US Air Force Reserve.

Edited to add:
Oops, forgot to tell where I found this.

Kind of Ironic.....I've spent the last 20 years in the Military. Prior, I was a computer technician working out of Lower Manhattan with over 2 dozen accounts in the WTC. In fact I dated a secretary form Cantor Fitz, the company that was wholly vaporized.

At the time I lived in Garfield, NJ and commuted to work via the train to Hoboken and then into the WTC via path. One of my most poignant memories is that of a fireman playing amazing grace one morning in the path station. It was a weekday morning but for some reason the scene was serene and calm as opposed to the normal hectic jumble. The bagpipes just echoed through the train station causing me to pause. That morning and those bagpipes are forever burned into my soul.

Regretfully, I've heard it way too much these past two weeks.

It really chills the bones when your two feet away as they play the pipes.
