I started Haganai and watched five minutes of E1, got distracted, and went down the comp shooting rabbit hole lol.
Back to Haganai. |

I definitely admit that I am pretty easily entertained. I almost quit an anime in 5 minutes recently though. I started The Daily Life of the Immortal King and the Mandarin Chinese was really bugging me. Stuck it out and ended up liking it so I finished the first season. I'm probably going to start the second season tomorrow. |

It got SLIGHTLY better after the first episode, but not by much. After I got caught up with it (episode 7 or so) I stopped caring. The slimes were EASILY the best part of the show. Also that might be the most boring MC in anime I've ever seen. |

View Quote They were taking liberties with the source material, to condense it to fit the time they had - probably more than they should have. The last two or three episodes had a lot of material that I don't recall being in the manga, so they may have followed the example of some previous anime by pulling an arc out of their ass, instead of working with the source material. The events at the end of episode 12 (at the guild), were from about chapter 21 of the manga. If I'm not mistaken, 17 volumes of the manga have been published in Japan, so there is still a lot of source material available. |

Ridiculously expensive, but if I'm not mistaken, they still had to do a lottery to see who ended up parting with their money in exchange for a figurine. I think I read somewhere that they were made by doing 3D scans of the normal figurines, resizing and cleaning up the details in CAD, then 3D printing them in sections and gluing them together, before finally painting them by hand. |

The amount of advanced weapons he is using and handing out indicates someone with lots of assets from a previous isekai group. Also Albedo looks badass in that armor and I want to see her go ALL OUT in a battle. She is on such a tight leash every time she fights. And I'm pretty certain Albedo is going to become Ains's worst headache in the long run. I can't remember did Ains set her to be "crazy in love with Ains"?Annnnnnnd he keeps taling about the evil players. |
