I was told this was a pretty powerful story, I can't find it at our library and don't want to buy it and find out it's over rated as I can only find hardback around here.

ETA I found that we do have it but it's checked out

My fiancé read it and thought it was very good. He said it was depressing and hard to read due to the author's lack of punctuation (I believe he specifically leaves out quotation marks, maybe other marks too) but a good book.

This book is now on Oprah's Book Club thing and is available at Wally World in paperback. I am about halfway through and it is pretty depressing.

Eh, just because the hose beast put it on her list does not mean it's all bad. The book A million Little Pieces was actually pretty entertaining and it ended up embarrassing her pretty bad, so it made it even better.

A friend said it's one of the most thought provoking books he's read in quite a while.

I believe it won a Pulitzer recently.
