Does anyone use both?  If so which combos work, which don't?

Tac slings are the preferred method of carry for most spec-ops personnel, as is the LBV.  I use Blackhawk's tac sling over either USGI LBE or Eagle LBV, with no interference.  The only problem I have is how to sling a 2-quart canteen and keep it out of the way, which has nothing to do with the sling or LBV.

I use an Eagle TAC-V vest and an HK tac sling, no problems.

Sparky315- is this really something you know about, or just another guess posted as a factual assertion?

I leave the 2 quart canteen clipped to my rucksack.  on my belt I have 2 one quart canteens.  I also have a camelback if I want to swap out the canteens with more mag pouches.
