It's reported that literature and letters left behind clearly link him to it. Of course, those could be false evidence planted to incriminate him.

You actually watch CNN? I haven't seen any evidence, either. Of course, I never saw any evidence in the OJ trial, either. Maybe our boys on the ground will run across him and he'll resist.

Bin Laden is the one, if they show us the evidence it will close doors on the investigation. The investigation is what is important. As for arab desent in camps. We are a free people and that comes with some limitations. Most arabs are not involved with Bin Laden. As most Germans are not Nazis, nor Italians in the mob. We need to be supportive of the those arabs that are Americans, and the fear that they must be feeling now.

Just what evidence are YOU waiting to see?
If you want to review the electronic intercepts, confidential reports, CIA analyses, and other classified materials that George W. and his advisors are privy to, then I suppose you'll [u]never[/u] be satisfied, cause it's unlikely we'll ever see that sort of evidence. So what are you looking for? Waiting for Bin-Laden to surrender himself to the US authorities, eager to challenge all the evidence in Court, maintaining his innocence, declaring himself to be simply the 'patsy' in a some combined US-Israeli covert operation gone horribly awry, and assembling his 'dream team' of defense attorneys to marshall all the exculpatory evidence on his behalf? Ain't gonna happen! So what would convince YOU that Bin-Laden is responsible? BTW, the 'dancing' Palestinians on the West Bank and the 'celebrating' Egyptians in Cairo, semm to think that Bin-Laden was involved (if the massive display of his likeness on posters can be account for much). So what are you looking for? Don't misunderstand my post (sorry if I was unclear). I'M personally not looking for anything, and I don't care if ever I see "evidence" or not. People like Bin Laden and his sympthizers need to be put down like rabid animals. The point of my post is that nobody in the public has really been shown any evidence at all (the letters apparently just link the hijackers to one another, not to Bin Laden), yet 78% of those people in the poll feel confident that the evidence against him is there. I'm not trying to sound paranoid - I didn't SEE the evidence in the O.J. case with my own eyes, but it was clearly there. Other than the televised trial, The fact alone that he was arrested and charged clearly demonstrated that a judge or grand jury felt the evidence was there. I just find that fact interesting - that people are so sure there IS lots of evidence, even though nobody has seen it. |
