I agree. I suspect myself! My kids started watching this train wreck and I have to admit, I'm hooked! I may have to check into Betty Ford and watch The Green Beret, Fire Base Gloria, Full Metal Jacket, We Were Solders, Apocalypse Now Redux (gotta love the nudity) The Longest Day, Hell is for Hero's and Tora Tora Tora non stop until I'm cured!

I only watched the highlights last night waiting for House to come on...What a f'ing joke that kid is. I hope those people that vote for him are proud of themselves. Maybe you don't like the show, but the serious kids put alot of time, effort and money into it, and keeping him there is detrimental to them, and if he actually wins, he'll wind up with no career. Who'd sign a jackass like that to a record label? It just takes away from the kids that are talented and deserve to be there. Like the show, don't like the show. But if you don't like the show or the premise, don't watch it. Don't undermine the kids that are putting their heart and souls into it. |

 The first part - the general auditions, are very entertaining. You get to watch people who shouldn't even be singing in the shower. The second part - where they cut down 70+ people from the field are ok. Once they get to the regular show, it's too boring to watch, so the most fun comes from supporting the worst singer. In this case, it's sanjaya. |

We have at least one more week of Sanjaya! How many more good singers will fall? At what point does he accept his continued appearance on the show is a mockery? I know he's only 17 but some adult should explain what honor means. At the next elimination, he should stand up and say...America, I'm leaving. Now that would show character. Taylor Hicks win last year made me lose interest in the show.
I was into it the season before with Carrie Underwood.  but the next season with Taylor sucked because he won. He has the lowest selling album of all the idols. I think the votefortheworst concept pushed him forward. This season sucks, there's some hot chicks in the final (well only 2 now IMHO). Melinda will get a contract and outsell whoever wins. I think it will be hilarious to see Sanjaya win. |
