I just saved up some cash for a Comp-Tac paddle holster for my HS2000.  I've got a few leather belts in my closet, but none of them are 1 1/2" wide, and I doubt any of them would sufficiently hold this holster very well.

Do any of you have any cheap (i.e. <$20) belts that you bought at, say, Wal-mart??  I'm not expecting the highest quality or durability for the money, but I do need something that will stand up during range practices and IDPA matches for the time being.  Chances are, I'll probably use the same belt for my CCW IWB holster as well.  Leather, nylon, plutonium alloy - which material works for you at an affordable price?

What size waist? I have a police duty belt that would work perfectly. It is heavy leather with velcro closure. I got it on trade.

I bought a metal buckled Velcro closure belt that you loop and then Velcro for $6.00 at my local army surplus store.
