This rifle turns me on, sexually: Yes, that's a .50 next to it. www.anzioironworks.com/MAG-FED-20MM-RIFLE.htm All I need is 9,800 for the base model and I'm set! |
I do my best to live a life of excess. But even this is getting close to the limit....
ehhh just kidding...where do you get ammo for that beast?? |
It's a destructive device, are they legal there? |
Guys, I need this.
I don't know what I'd do with it, how I'd afford the ammo, or where I could shoot it, but I need it. |
Just reinforce the garage door! |
How much would it cost to feed?
ETA $8 each.. jeezus Anyone make reloading parts for it? |
At least US$200/round, tax alone. |
That's a fine rifle, but you need to get out more man. |
Good God...
Kidney's are still selling for $25k on the black market aren't they? |
Is the rifle the destructive device, or each one of its >.5" projectiles? |
If the rounds were HE, yeah. Look at the website: Ball: $8.00 Tracer: $15.00 The rounds need no tax stamp, the rifle does though. |
Holy wow. GO watch the video....that is an impressive suppresor
$200/round is only for explosive ordnance IIRC. *edit* beaten to it twice over, this thread is moving fast. *edit*
Shouldn't be the tax on the rounds if the round isn't explosive, just the rifle itself. |
The rounds are not destructive devices unless they contain more than 1/4 ounce of explosive. $8 a round for ball ammo. |
DO WANT
+1 Paint rounds for 40mm aren't DD's. A 40mm launcher itself is a DD, however. So in this case, the ammo is not DD, but the rifle is. |
practice rounds would not be he tips, they could be made of solid copper, or whatever and be left out of the dd category? correct me if i am wrong |
I heard you can get one of those lee Load-all kits for it so you can reload it in your garage with a snowshovel for powder and a hammer for the dies. |
No tax stamp if the round contains less than .25 ounces (= 109.37500 grains) of explosives. There is still a stamp on the rifle. |
Why does anyone NEED something like that?
Just kidding! I want one! |
If the 50 can shoot down satellites, this beast can shoot down the moon.
So I'm guessing (other than rockets) that this rifle is the most powerful shoulderfired weapon out there right? I mean, I'd hate to buy one and then they make a rifle that shoots 30mm or something. Just for the record, I know about the barrett 25mm, but I think that those have nowhere near the energy of this round, that was shaped more like an overgrown .22lr. I can't believe that it is able to propell a 1600 grain bullet 3200FPS. That's incredible! So where is Steyr-Aug? Let's get this group buy going! Seriously though, 9,800 is a little out of my range, I'd be all over it if it were 5,000 though. So I guess I'm just going to have to sit here and dream, like a 16 year old looking at a Porsche. |
Why does anyone need something like that ? You can't hunt with it.
Sure you could, we have gangs of ferral tanks roaming the woods near my house. Gotta' keep the tank population in check, ever seen what happens when one of those things trys to cross the highway? |
Incorrect. ETA: I see it's been corrected. It's too bad barret won't be able to sell their 25mm to the public. |
Should be perfect for the Colossal Squid. Truck Tire Calamari, anyone? |
*can't find popcorn animation!* |
You don't need a safe for that thing!
Just chain it up like a Harley!! efxguy |
simply amazing.
I'm wondering if a 10ft deep berm would be enough backstop. |
Excuse me.................but I have a Constitutional right to keep and bear arms! |
I can't believe there isn't one member on this board that doesn't have one.
There's gotta be one here. |
I wonder how far it'd push you if you fired it from the prone on a car repair creeper.
Gonna need a swimming pool to deep fry that. |
They have a single shot model that's a lot closer to your price range. |
hoooooooooly crap!!! If I ever get my APC put together
I know where to look to set up the turret... |
Just the thing for the roof top of embassies in the not-nice places of the world.
