They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

When most people think "civil liberties" they think "my right to jump on any plane I want and be headed to any destination of my choosing in 1 hour or less."

So, yes, they are willing to give up that. Up to a three hour wait, but beyond that is intolerable.

On the other hand, they would be unwilling to give up their MTV and double latte w/ croissant.

Ask a fool a question - and don't be surprised at the answer. Ever see some of the idiots Jay Leno meets on his "JayWalking" segment??

The only things I would trade for liberty are
some rounds of ammo and a good firearm (beginning from the barrel).

The problem is even sheeple would do it.
Even they would trade OUR firearms for THEYR presumed freedom.

What do you expect from people who are too stupid to change the default home page on their Internet browser away from the name of the company who made it?

But I guess in the End I have to suffer from those peoples idiocy.  Don't they know that you don't have to surrender rights if the solution is correct.

And yet again.

Since I am a person who believes in the BILL OF RIGHTS. I know that my rights come from GOD Almighty himself and are not granted by society around me.  Civil liberties are liberties derived by existence in society. And as such can be taken away by Society. That is why I choose INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES, AND I DON"T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM!!!
