Oh I see. But the Taliban's starving of Muslims in Afghanistan is not cruelty. Neither was Hussein's use of chemical weapons against Iran. Nor was Khomeni's(sp?) practice of sending children wandering out into mine fields to detonate mines.  Gee, we really are on the wrong page here.

What kills me is how these radical Muslims and their pathetic anti-American friends here in our country keep harping on theses supposed "atrocities" in Muslim countries. What exactly are these numerous "wrong and cruel policies" they talk of? How about some specifics rather than these vague generalities.
Surely they can't be talking about the embargos on Iraq, which as far as I'm aware don't include food or medical supplies. We continue to dog Saddam to prevent him from projecting his power to re-attack his Muslim neighbors. We hear cries of poverty from the government of Iraq, yet Saddam continues expensive development of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. And as the Kurds and Iranians found out, he will use them. But we're evil, huh?
Maybe they're talking about our policies in the 90's, let's take a look.
We were involved in 3 wars. The Gulf war saved the Kuwaiti people from Saddam. Our intervention in the Balkans helped save Bosnia. And then we helped save Kosovo from Serbia.
In each of the above military actions we saved a Muslim people. Is this the cruel policies these terrorists speak of?
And let's not forget Somalia, a military operation designed to feed a nation of starving Muslims.
Are these the policies and actions for which we deserve to have over 5000 innocent American civilians murdered for?
I for one am  sick of the rhetoric being spewed by these so called Islamic leaders. Hopefully we'll soon give them something to really complain about.
