While we're on the subject so heavy. Anyone have any opinions on the german made gas masks? I'm not sure of the exact make, but I think it's the M-10 (?). I know it's got the filters on both sides and a drinking tube. I think it even comes with its own canteen.

Anyone know what I'm talking about, and  if these are any good?

They work great when painting enclosed areas.

i own an M10 protective mask. they are similar to the M17 mask. the should do fine against tear gas and the like, but are unsuitable for biological and nuclear from what i am to gather.

unless you have the full suit, hood, and warning devices a protective mask and gear will do you little good against an enemy you cant see, smell or taste. if you see dead people lying around chances are you are already infected.
