Without prohibition, would have organized crime been just a local thug problem? Did the FBIs war with the new millionaire bootleggers lead to the NFA of 1934, and thus set a precedent for all future gun regs?

Did the wealth and power of 1920's and 1930's gangsters forever demonize powerful autos and their "look a likes"?

What did the depression and bank robbers have to play? Dillinger, Kelly, Nelson, Bonnie & Clyde, etc?

What exactly led to the NFA of 1934.

ATF.  Ask that of someone in Montana...  It's either a new convenience store or a BYO party.  They do seem to go together in some kind of inexplicable way.  They're fun?  Maybe it's things people want so bad they ought to be taxed cuz outlawing them sure ain't gonna work and would deny the .gov a great source of revenue.  You want a real revolution?  Outlaw all 3 tomorrow.  The proverbial feces would hit the rotating blades.  I'd hope.
