We just got a memo in our office from building management saying that if any backpacks, briefcases, gym bags, etc. are left unattended in the common area, the building will be evacuated and the authorities called.

To put this in perspective, we are a small professional office building of about 15 offices and maybe 150 people. We are near nothing important (except a really good deli). Somebody has way too much time on their hands.

Now's your chance to really have fun.  Start leaving your finished lunch sack outside the office of some manager.

Leave your backpack in a corner and when they start to abandon the building go over to the bag and tell them they you can't leave your bag behind...

You gotta see the Movie industry here in Kali, Burbank/Hollywood. I drove past WB today, they blocked all secondary gates with cement barriers and the primary entrance was swarming with security. They are actually doing car to car searches to get in. It wasn't like that a month ago. Even NBC studios, where they film the Tonight Show, has 4 to 5 times the normal number of guards standing out front. Everyone is really spooked.
