Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Nova Pump gun

Considering a used nova with short barrel and smoth bore. rifle sights . I want it for shooting buckshot. I own several old winchester 97's and one 1912. All three are riot models but i feel its time to upgrade. Anyone have one ?

I watched Tom Knapp break 7 hand thrown clays at Nilo Farms Saturday.He hae broken 8 at once but wouldn't attempt it.So they must be smooth enough.His gun is stock except for a mag extension.

 A 97 trenchgun is the only non double shotgun I own.

I have one as my home D rig.  Buy the optional recoil reduction kit and shoot 3 1/2 incg loads out of it all day and feel no pain!
