What do you expect from someone who's chosen a tool that won't allow them to hit what they aim at past 100 yards??

Don't worry, same thing different day.  Just take solice in knowing that there are ONLY 2 types of AK47 owners.  Ones who can't afford an AR15 and those of us who buy one just to prove how much better are AR's really are.

AK47 owners have a superiority complex 'cuz you can buy three AK's for what it costs to buy one AR.

Which is only fair, as you have to fire three times as many shots with an AK to hit your target as you do with an AR.

[:D]

Its ironical, really.

My SKS is just as accurate and reliable as an AK, but it costs 1/3 as much as an AK.

Go figger them AK guys. They spend more for the same accuracy, but bust the beans of those of us who spend more for more accuracy.

AK-47.net members are more broadly knoweledgable
about thier chosen devices than the members here on AR15.com seem to be.
But there are enough guys here who can answer any question you might have about the AR to offset that.
Not to mention that this site is like a bilion times more fun. But I wish CampyBob was here.
That dude knows the answer to any question you might have.

Huh???  I don't see a trashing there.

I'm an equal oportunity shooter.  I got AK's, FAL's, SKS's, AR-15, M1 Garand....

It's all good!!

I have both. shoot both....trust both.
however the AR is my weapon of choice.
I have a Colt match comp.  only jamed once with winchester Q3131....even got droped in the sand by my ex-girlfriend...still didn't jam....now you know why she is my Ex...well I also caught her cheating on me but that is another story.

you AR guys who bad mouth AK's are just as bad as the AK guys who bad mouth AR's.

when are you going to realize we are all in the same boat !!!

they are different. each has its good/bad pionts.

that *my gun is better than yours* stuff is childish.

once a man said it all in one phrase, he ws talking about the debate between water fowlers and other hunters. " when hunters bad mouth eachother, we all look bad in the eyes of the indiffrent people" this applys even more so to rifle owners. some are por gun, some anti, but a lot undecided. if gun owners argue it will be likley to make the undecided lean torwards the antis. same with shooting signs or putting you deer on you hood and driving around. it the middle, half way between pre and anti, that is the key to keeping guns around

merlin, this is why some people use sight adjustment tools. [:D]

i've owned three ak thus so far. hey, maybe it's just been a fluke but they have all shot with the same accuracy (AR were more accurate at a distant but this is due to the cartridge, not the design. when within the cartridges effective range i see little diff)as the three ar that i have owned.

the ak can easily hit a man-sized target within 400 yards. if somebody cannot hit a man-sized target past 100 yards; there must be something wrong with the shooter. or perhaps they didn't shoot the rifle enough to get used to it.

One thing AK's have over AR's is magazines. I have never had a problem with any AK mag. They can also handle a lot more abuse. They are also much cheaper. For what some of those USGI mags cost, you would expect them to have gold springs.

There's no use arguing this point.  It's like that old saying, "Even bad sex is still pretty good."  Besides, I like the 7.62x39mm round.  Too bad we didn't choose it instead of the 5.56mm "poodle shooter."  If I had a choice---make mine M-14.

I really don't care what they have to say. It is like the Mini-14 people who buy cheap and get what they pay for. Always trying to justify their purchase.

And yes, I do have a Mini-14. It has its place in the big scheme of things.

And no, I do not have an AK-47. Would like to, but I can not justify having a sub-par weapon regardless of the history...see the first paragraph.

Ya, where's the Mini-14 forum?

I'm looking for some overpriced factory 30rd mags.

I would hardly call an AK a sun par weapon.  It does what it is designed to do.
