Last night as I was getting off of work at the local shooting range, a stunt coordinator approahed me and asked if I could possibly spend some time with this actor that was going to be playing a major part in an action flick being filmed in Houston.

So I though it would be good expeience if not down right entertaining.

I talked to this guy to find out that just recently he had graduated acting school and had been using platic guns in theatre for a long time. He was originally from San Fransisco, so it doesn't take much to figure out that I had alot of work.

Sorry, but my impression is that for the most part Kali is one hell on earth for a gun owner.

Anyway, they had some Beretta 92FS that had plugged barrels and shot blanks.
this guy was just shooting blanks as if there was such a thinig as Majic Ninja Heat-Seeking killer bullets.

So, I was kind of disgusted with the way this guy thought he could just waltz in here with a cap gun and think he was Jeff Cooper or something.

So I pulled out my Kimber Custom and started showing how to operate it.
Then I actually was able to hit the steel plates I was pointing at.
When I was done, all he could say was, " Oh my gawd, that was really loud, there is no way I am going to shoot that thing."

I finally talked him into shooting and he was so scared that he was using that Zen Shooting style (close your eyes, become one with the target, call on your ancestors to focus your energy for you).

After about ten shots he actually started opening his eyes and before too long, he actually hit a steel plate.

You would have thought that he just won the lottery or something.

By the end of our shooting session, I was suprised when he suggested that he come back next weekend after he buys his own pistol.

I feel like I made a contribution, it is not often that you can take a totally liberal person and warpt their thinking.

I just wish Dianne Feinstein could have been there, she makes a great aggressor.

What is funny is that I don't even know the name of the film or what it is about. For all I know it is some Gay porno flick or something. HAHA

Should have recomended Mr. Pretty get more training and experience before buying a weapon himself. Great start converting him, don`t need him doing something stupid in mid stream and regressing, providing the other side ammo. Might consider a indoctrination program for him. Could have good long term implications to it.

I figure if he buys a pistol in order to come back next weekend to shoot, he can't go wrong.

I would love for him to realize that he can't go back to Kali with registering his gun.

I always try to see what kind of muzzle brake they use in the movies cause they seem to work better than anything I have ever seen.

Please may Sure that he is aware of Gun Safety,

And PLEASE make sure he buy a Gun Safe or Gun Security Cabinet, he can get one at Kmart or Walmart for about a Hundred Dollars.

Tell him it is [b]NOT[/b] a Toy, and need to be [b]Secure.[/b]

Have him also read Allege handgun control master plan for TOTAL gun confiscation/Citizen Dis-Armament, if you think he is ready to handle the Truth.

Don't have him waiting For , someone to Steal his weapons first.

Let him Know This is a Deadly Weapon that you Can Not just leave hidden UN-secure in your Closet.

If your weapons are just hiding in the closet,

Anyone can walk/break into you place and steal your Guns.

He Needs to SECURE his WEAPON, Don't Give the Anti-Gun more AMMUNITION against us.

Please Have him Learn from Other's and keep his Guns locked up, if he want them for protection, unlocked them when he get Home.

Please if he Buy A Gun he need to also buy a Safe That DAY.

Learn from Other's mistakes, It's not Wise if you leave them UN-Secure.

For about a Hundred Dollars, until he can afford a better safe, this is more secure than just leaving it in your Closet.
