Ok this will possibly get me into some hot water. It's already been said time and time again by a number of people, so this isn't anything new. I just wanted to voice my concerns in the hopes that maybe ONE person will change their outlook on this...
AMERICA IS UNDER ATTACK. Yes, since the WTC disaster. Yes, by Terrorists. This time it's not foreign Terrorists, but domestic ones.
Americans have begun living out our fears by striking out at our own. We've seen the stupidity of looting, we knew to expect similar responses from the public, but to see the pain that we're inflicting now on our great nation, sickens me. More specifically I am talking about the MURDER of Americans of Arab decent.
That actually doesn't paint the picture either does it? Apparently anyone who LOOKS as if they could be Arab is being targeted. Where the hell did we go wrong in this county? How do we decide who IS AND ISN'T an American? When did the idea of Freedom die?
I look at these people responsible for attacks on businesses, attacks on our brothers, and attacks on our nation as TRAITORS and TERRORISTS of the worst sort. While they may not kill thousands, they weaken the backbone of society and inflict more fear in the populace than most terrorists are capable of. Why? Because these guys are unpredictable, unknown, and living next door to us. They're the ones who think FREEDOM is theirs to control and that they posses the power to make things right.
I hope we catch all these people and line them up against a wall somewhere and crush them with blocks of the WTC buildings. These people are a disease in this country and should be dealt with in our war against Terrorism.
We've seen a nation attacked. We've seen the strength that has brought many thousands together for a common cause. And now we see the true terrorism they've created as we turn on each other. We've become pawns in their grand scheme and I am hopeful that these acts will stop and that amends will be made with the victims. We must not fight amongst ourselves, this attack on the WTC should have shown us that. We must not only bond with our American brothers, but as a world, committed to the singular goal of living in peace and protecting each other for the common good.
Again, just the ramblings of a sick and tired old Goat. Perhaps my meds have kicked in too hard this morning, but the pride I was feeling was knocked down a few notches when I watched the news reports of these attacks from all over the country.
