first lets get our decimal point in the right place. then we would need to know what type of rifle are you using in this caliber. Then we would need to know the purpose. Then we could comment on the perfect caliber for the perfect job.

are you an enema of the state? no just kidding. the 5.56 hands down for close quarter combat. just ask the isreali's and our military, not to mention just about every other country that can afford newer style weapons. the 7.62 is best at long ranges.

7.62x51mm (aka .308) and 7.62x39mm (which doesnt even hold a candle to either the 5.56 or 7.62x51) |
