I own a 98% Colt SP-1 manufactured in 1965, serial # 147*.

She's beautiful, definitely built when they cared about what they were doing.

I've got an old Colt AR-15 blackpowder rifle from 1885 that used to be used by the navy...it's a .41 caliber.  I have a 30-round magazine that holds 72-grain lead balls and only rattles a bit when running.

It even has a the original "full auto" setting...which is an experience!  Your arms get damn tired trying to ram patches, balls, and powder down that sucker at 5 rounds per second!

People think I'm crazy, but I still use it for home defense.  Yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking...a 35-inch barrel isn't necessarily maneuverable indoors, but I used the retractable stock to shorten it a bit.  TRAINING, TRAINING, TRAINING!  It's fun.
