how much longer are we going to keep flying at half mast. i'm in canada and everone here is still halfway up...

I heard twice on the radio today President Bush declared until this Saturday, I presume sunset.

Till sunset of the 22nd. and when you lower it dont just take it straight down, you have to raise it all the way, and then take it down slowly

personally, IMHO, I would think they could fly at half until the last body is pulled from the rubble of the terrorist attack.

I refuse to call it a "disaster", as disaster implies accident.

I appreciate your passion, and agree completely, but I believe we are not to decide on our own when to fly the flag in an alternative manner, including half mast. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we can only fly it half-mast when "ordered" by the President or Governor of the state in which we reside. Someone please help here with better info if I'm incorrect. Out of respect, it is important to do things correctly. God bless America.
