Well this has been one of the worst weeks ever for my portfolio. I have lost $20,000 in the last 3 days alone. I will not short or sell any of my shares even if I go broke! Bin Laden, will never screw me over. How much have you guys lost over the last few weeks? Don't be afraid to admit your losses we all have them, including brokers in the industry that includes myself. Well I better get back to work, this is a very stressful time for us all!

I haven't lost a thing. That's because I haven't sold anything. I hopefully will not have to sell until I am 65.5. As they say, don't invest what you can't afford to lose.

More than I even want to contemplate. Don't worry about it. It's only a paper loss and I'm a long way from retirement.

Don't know, don't care. Long term investor. I only worry when the management of the company/fund changes. Otherwise, I take the statements and file them away.

I sold my shares before the market had a chance to react.
I purchased gold, and now that the prices are low, i'm gonna buy a shitload of american airlines and boeing stocks, maybe Airbus stocks too, depending on how low they go.

How could *anyone* lose in this market, I wouldn't sell even with a gun to my head, I have been buyinglike mad, there are such great stocks for dirt cheap prices, I feel like a kid in a candy store, I do no doubt for a minute, in 5 to 10 years my portfloio will have increased a hundredfold just by the stocks I am picking up right now.

Paper loss maybe, but it sure hurts! On the bright side, I have picked up 3 nice guns in the last 2 weeks. [:D]

My only investing is an IRA and my 401K.
The 401K was down 40k PRIOR to the attack.
I have not even looked...but then again...
I'm in a divorce and I only have to kiss
1/2 of that goodbye! There's ALWAYS
a silver lining out there...just have
to look!

I cashed in all my vested stock options last month before my company stock crashed from 21 to 8! woohoo! lucky me.

Obviously I have not gotten this months statement yet, but I think I am about even or close to it. At least if we are talking about losses from cost basis. If were talking year to date then I am down about 70%

I am a short and long term investor, so I got hit for a little loss, mainly because I got into the stocks at a good time. I am way too broke to put any money in the market, but I see a few good picks that are almost at my target price.

I dumped all my shares about two weeks ago. Now is the time to buy!!!!
I am up 100% this month. For the year I am down 25%. [>(]
