Celebrated NY's with the g/f at home, 'cause I had foot surgery this week.

At midnight we set off 3 Spanish skyrockets w/ reports, 2 parachute flares and one 1½ firework salute!

{nice to have a father with a fireworks hobby!}

Went to bed at about 1230, insomnia decided to kick my butt after a couple of hours (or it might have been the shrimp, or the three hour nap I took yesterday afternoon

). So after deciding that the two hours sleep I'd get if I took an Ambien wasn't worth it, I finally got up at around 0330 and have been drinking coffee and surfing my sites ever since.

I'm having a pretty good time!

The key is, washing down Ambien with a shot of Beam I'm still waiting for my Ambien and percoset to kick in.... Happy New Yearz Day

I am at work, been here since 4:30 am. Listened to WWIII last night up in the mountains of WV.

I actually was awakened at 12am to the gunfire and cheers of "HAPPY NEW YEAR", pow bang, BOOM!, bang, bang, rat tat tat tat tat, BOOOOOOM!!!, pop pop pop!

I was almost ready to get on the floor when it all died down.
