Three or four years ago we brought a cat home from the farm, even though I didn't want a third cat in the house.
The cat took up with me, so according to Wife Logic, it's my cat. She thinks the cat we euthanized last summer was her cat, and now she is rationalizing that she ought to get a replacement, even though we still have two perfectly functional units, and after all, I have my own cat.

Relax man. We gots ourselves 6 cats, keep them indoors 100% of the time, & they all get along fine..& then there's the dogs. I'm soft when it comes to animals.
