I got 2 bladerunners for Christmas and they are awsome!!!!

I can fly it upstairs and land it on my sons computer desk.

I did break one of the blades, but some wire and epoxy fixed that

I tie stuff to the copters and generaly haras the cats.

You gotta get two, fly one while the other recharges

Can the thing slide sideways or do you have to rotate it, then move it forward in order to move sideways?

I've been thinking about getting one.  How long does the charge last/how long does it take to charge?

edit: on the video on their site it talks about its "unique coaxle rotor design"...unique design they say

Your cats don't seem to be afraid of the threshing aerial machine.

Mine would be out the door the moment the rotor blades began to whirl.

You have to rotate it.

Well it always move forward and to change the direction just point the nose in the direction you want to go.

it flys for about 8 mins and it takes 25 mins or so to charge, thats why I got 2.

Unigue?? it has 2 rotors, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

Aww that sucks...

It still looks like a blast though!  You said you are strapping shit onto it to harrass the cats.  How much does the added weight affect it?  Maybe I could strap my mini rocket-cam on it. :)

Next time I go to my local hobby shop i'll ask some of the guys if they have heard anything on their performance.  I've seen alot of those mini battery powered heli's there with the counter-rotating rotors.

Waiting for the "The Cats trashed my helicopter" post.  You know the cats will "accidently" knock the helicopter of the shelf in the middle of the night, right?

The weight doesnt afect it to much if it can get it off the ground.

It does cut you flying time in half.

Im not sure of how much it can carry I will have to do some test tomorow.

A friend of mine had an Abyssinian (the Egyptian cat). I wish I had a video, cause that cat was so unafraid he would sleep on their canister vaccum - while it was in use!
